Thursday, May 7th, 7-9 pm at Showtime Studio 2700 Lexington Ave N, Roseville.

An Interdisciplinary Multi-Modal Experience led by Jim Kellerman

Join in community experience intended to transform habits and empower a healthy relationship with your digital devices. Our phones and laptops are incredibly powerful tools for connection and creativity and are the foundation of modern life. And… they are equally powerful at drawing one into unconsciousness, distraction and psychological distress, in some applications by design. We will gather to reclaim our attention, bring compassionate awareness to unconscious patterns, and leave with a conscious intention to guide the transformation of device habits.

Evening’s agenda:

Gathering/connection/a safe space/phone reclaiming ritual (part A)

Restorative/yin yoga practice with live music/sound healing/connection/phone reclaiming ritual (part B)/closure.

Note- come early, starts at 7- please bring a yoga mat and pillow and warm comfy clothes. Please power down your phones and completely disconnect for a couple hours. If that isn’t possible this event is not for you. Questions, please email jimk@citilink.com.

Pay after the event: whatever amount feels right to you…

Joseph Walker is a South American–born, Twin Cities–based singer/songwriter whose original compositions and magnetic live performances have made him a rising force in the Midwest music scene. Raised across Colombia, Venezuela, and Brazil, Joseph weaves English, Spanish, and Portuguese into a soulful blend of folk, funk, and Latino roots—delivered with the immediacy of a modern looping act and the heart of a storyteller.

Performing solo, as a duo with his brother Jay, or with their acclaimed six-piece Walker Brothers Band, Joseph brings a vibrant, genre-fluid sound that feels both worldly and deeply personal. In 2026 he debuts Sonidos de mi Tierra, a dynamic show celebrating his South American heritage through native instruments, multilingual songwriting, and the rhythmic spirit that shaped his life.
